Maesglas Churches Together


Saint David, Ebbw Bridge Baptists and and
Saint Thomas , Church in Wales communities
joined to mark the occasion of Palm Sunday.

 

Our Palm Sunday “Witness Walk” started from Saint David’s with a hymn and a Reading.


A donkey led the way
and music was provided by
the Boys Brigade Band.
From Saint David's Church the walk progressed to the Ebbw Bridge Baptist Church for another hymn and Reading.
From Ebbw Bridge the Procession made it's way to the shops at Maesglas for another hymn and Reading.
Finally the Procession made it's way to Saint Thomas’s Church
for a short Service and some refreshments.
The children of Jerusalem
welcomed Christ the King.
They carried olive branches
and loudly praised the Lord:
Hosanna in the highest.
